A consolation prize: Destiny

Traditional approach
Peoples often consult astrologers whenever something goes appalling. Even if every thing is fine, they still want to know everything about their life/future. The astrologers tell them what will they achieve and what not. And this is what your “Destiny” is.

My approach

“DESTINY IS A POINT WHERE YOU ACTUALLY SURRENDER.”
What astrologers tell us is the MINIMUM thing which we’ll achieve. Just like an assured gift or a consolation prize for taking birth.
But do winners stop fighting?
Do winners works to receive a consolation prize?  HELL NO!
Winner achieves maximum with their hard work and determination, which my friend is way better than the minimum, which an astrologer tells us.
If an astrologer tells me that I’ll become Indian’s Prime minister but what if I never join politics, will it make me one? Of course not!
Your goals should be your destiny (written by your self). If you believe that your destiny is what your astrologer tells you then I am sorry but you are hopeless. In that case you will never achieve heights. Astrologer will give you nothing more than excuses for your failure. And when you fail again you’ll say “This was not in my destiny Pandit ji already told me. Wow that man is awesome. How does he know everything?”
But you’ll never see the actual reason behind your failure. You’ll never analyze your fault. In short you’ll never get better.
Life is just like a computer game except there is no “restart” option, if you know what’ll come next it will become boring. Life is beautiful and its beauty lies in its unpredictability. Why to ruin its beauty? Let life surprise you.

My dear destiny

My dear destiny,
So, it's a official war between us, I guess. But before we start our next round let me give you a word of wisdom. No matter how many times you knock me out. No matter how many times I bleed from my nose. No matter how much it hurts to stand but I'll not give up. I'll keep on coming and coming until you give up. I'll not quit until you bow down in front of me. I'll not stop standing until you get tired of knocking me out.
But fight apart, I really love you. I love you for bringing the best out of me. Though I believe you could have been a little ..just a little liberal but anyways now you can become as rigid as you want because now you are fighting with a warrior. Bring it up kid!

warmest regards,
Your a** kicker.

Life Is Exhilarating

By Mayank
Life is exhilarating when you are following your passion and doing the thing which you love to do. Even a small triumph in it will give you triple dose of happiness. I am following my dream and Hell Yeah! I am happy.
Sometimes you don’t follow your passion or the thing which allure you, thinking you are not good at it but the fact is no matter how bad you are the more you do, the better you become. There are many examples viz. Bill Gates followed his passion for computers; Tendulkar , Ganguly , Ponting, etc. followed their passion for Cricket; Messi and Ronaldo followed their passion for football. You may argue that these guys were lucky, they are exceptions or it was their destiny but on the contrary I believe it was their hard work, determination and risk taking ability.
Life is all about taking risks, so don’t be afraid about your future. If you are good then nothing and when I say nothing it means nothing can stop you to triumph over the world.

Don’t be afraid, follow you passion and make your life exhilarating.

Our Own Way

By Mayank

We have our own way
Don’t push us to be a rule's slave.
We have our own style
Don’t teach us what is traditional.
We want to run
We want to fly
Let us fall once
We’ll stand on our own
And shall learn form our mistakes.

BELIEVE

Believe is a magical word. If you believe impossible becomes possible and if you believe walking is difficult, then it’ll surely become difficult. It’s your belief which shapes your attitude and life. It’s your first step towards success.
It was belief of Arumina Sinha, a one legged women which empowered her to conquer Mount Everest. It was belief of Oscar Pistorius, a man with both legs amputated which empowered him to become the first amputee to win an able-bodied world track medal at summer Olympics in 2012.
I was a shy writer before. I was afraid of being rejected by the readers. Approximately nine months ago on one bright day I started believing in myself and in my writing and Snappy Thoughts came into existence. It has done miracles for me and especially for my writing and confidence. Eighteen thousand page views in nine months are not excellent but for me it’s exciting and encouraging. Now I believe I can write for the next level. Some times I wonder what would have been my life if I didn't believe in myself and in my writing. It’s my belief and you, the most wonderful readers of the world who are responsible for directing my life.

It’s your belief which make you push your self beyond your limits. It’s your belief which brings satisfaction in your life. So, start believing and keep reading Snappy Thoughts.
                    Happy Reading <3

NOT DEFEATED, JUST A BIT TIRED

English translation of my poem "  हारा नहीं बस कुछ थक सा गया हूँ "

Stopping at a point does not always means that it is over for you, you are done/defeated.Even it sounds so negative. Well on the positive side I can say stopping at a point is always a "PAUSE" in which you find a solution, prepare yourself to move further and get ready to fight more.
So whenever you stop in front of any problem always say to yourself "I AM JUST TIRED NOT DEFEATED".

NOT DEFEATED, JUST A BIT TIRED

            I am repeatedly falling
The way is difficult some how I am walking
            Yes, I'm waiting
But this journey has not ended.
Hey, the moon appeared in the sky
Why are you laughing looking at my wounds
You yourself are full of marks, why are you forgetting
Yes I'm burning in your heat sun
But why are you feeling relieved
            I'm burning right now
But you burn all the time, why are you forgetting
Don’t know why the path feels happy
When it puts gravel beneath my feet.
Why are you forgetting that the gravels are underneath my feet
But it is sitting on your head all the time.
Yes, due to all these injuries I am standing still
But I am not defeated, just a bit tired.

HARA NAHI BAS KUCH THAK SA GAYA HOON.

HARA NAHI BAS KUCH THAK SA GAYA HOON
